Them Kitties !!

This is a problem.....Eragon constantly jumps on my shoulder from the back of the couch, love seat or entertainment center. He perches and rides around on me. He purrs and rubs his face against mine... only time he purrs !!! I have safety equipment which is composed of hot pad mittens that go up my arm. Thinking about adding shoulder pads and maybe a helmet for protection. Ya know the football type.. LOL... will give him a wider area to flop around on. My shoulders look and feel like a drainer.. thinking I could get Cat Scratch Fever !!!

Been close to a year since Samhain was adopted....It has taken awhile for him to feel comfortable and adjust..He is a truly good & sweet boy.. now he is fitting in purrfectly. He has a method now to block me off the computer with placing half of his huge body on the keyboard and the other on the mouse. Smart guy, he is !!!

Back from the Ocean

Travelled to VA Beach.....Sandbridge to be exact.. with Jenne, Gitie and Cheryl. Wow.. I had a very good time. It was so very nice to be at the ocean. We walked out the patio door & bam.. we were on the sand and the ocean was about 20 yards from us. It was awesome and talk about a beautiful place. The weather was purrfect.. the company was outstanding.. ya can't get better than that !! I took the metal dectector out for a stroll.. didn't find but $1.48 but I got lots of exercise and fresh air.. Ya can't put a price tag on being with nature at the ocean. I hunted about 2 hrs.. the first day & 5.5 on the second. Oh Goddess, we saw a pod of dolphins.. each day and they were fairly close in to shore. They were so amazing !!! I am still energized from the sand & salt water. I think my kitties missed me.. but at first I got punished by them for taking off.. LOL !! I believe they love me again now. Eragon was brutal with wanting to ride on my shoulder. He needs his claws trimmed... ouch !!!

Signs

I purchased this cute metal sign from my friend Jen this weekend. I placed it on my porch door. I love this sign. Purrfect weather here in VA for now !!! I am loving it. Up in the 60s. I do miss not having any snow to speak of. For the past week, I have been working for my parents. They pay me well but I hate taking money from them period. Certain chores I refuse to take money for. Actually, I only need to earn money to pay IRS my taxes this year. This is where I hate not having my part time job and with working while I did... I now owe more to IRS this year. Oh well... it will all work out, I hope.

I maybe going to the Ocean at VA Beach this weekend. I shall be armed with my metal detector. I have not been hunting in way over a year now & I miss that. Moneywise, I shouldn't but I do want to be at the Ocean. I miss that !!!!

Eragon has developed this habit of jumping onto my shoulder and perching there while I walk around the apartment. He does this very often & more often each day. I was hoping that it was a passing phase but now I don't believe so. After he jumps on.. he purrs loudly and rubs his face against mine. Only time that I hear him purr, Actually. Problem is ... he sinks his sharp claws in to hold on & that gets painful.

Y and I did our usual Saturday routine with going to the Opp Shop and then out to lunch. I found a nice set of mirrors with a Tiger family on one and a Cheetah family on the other. Soon I will run outta wall space.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:

If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.

If you spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs.

If you purchase a computer it will go to India.

If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala (unless you buy organic).

If you buy a car it will go to Japan.

If you purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan.

And none of it will help the American economy. We need to keep that money here in America. You can keep the money in America by spending it at yard sales, going to a baseball game, or spend it on prostitutes, beer and wine (domestic ONLY), or tattoos, since those are the only businesses still in the US.
